MISOLIMA eThomas REL22 uses 3-way switches for ON, OFF and AUTOMATIC.

The eThomas REL22 has two 250V-rated 5A SPDT relays. The relays can be controlled directly ON/OFF by the 3-way front switches or if set to Automatic, the relays are controlled via TTL ports found at the back of the unit. The device has LED indication of relay status where relay output can be in Rest or Set position of the relay contacts..

Please note that MISOLIMA eThomas REL22 are delivered without cables as cables and connectors depends on customers need and standards used in many diferent countries. Some cables and connectors are available for separate purchase on this website.

Beside being used as an independent device, eThomas REL22 may also be connected direct to AVLTrackMatrix® a AVL tracking software via MISOLIMA Bonnie 15-368 AVL. By doing so you may also control the mains etc. via SMS or GPRS commands using our AVLTM Server used to keep managing and tracking your fleet or private vehicle. By connecting eThomas REL22 to eBonnie 15-368 AVL, you really get remote control of electronics and best of all, it's really easy to use.

eThomas REL22 is a relay control unit where relays can be controlled by both 4-bit 5V TTL input as well as manually by front switches. There is several versions available where the most used version has two low-voltage 30Vdc 2A relays and two high voltage relays able to draw max 5A at 220Vac.

eThomas Series 22 has 3-way switches at the front where relays can be controlled manually by ON and OFF or set to AUTO. In the AUTO position the control of the relays will come via the 4-bit TTL data port where 5Vdc will trig the relay and put to ground would set the relay to rest position. The output has both SET and REST position so both can be used to i.e. open or close lights.

eThomas REL22 is really easy to use and can be interfaced to any 4-bit TTL level signals generated from microcontrollers (MCU's) or any other computer or electronically generated signals.

Front 3-way Switch

The front has 4 independent relay switches switch is 3-way switchs. By using the switch in down position, the relay output is in OFF possition which means in "REST" possition for the relay. By setting the front switch in middle possition, the relay in ON or in "SET" possition and by setting the switch to top possition or "AUTO", the relay status depends on the TTL input signal on the data port located on the back of eThomas Rel22

If eThomas REL22 from MISOLIMA is powered from USBs 5V connected to a PC or Notebook it can control other 110/220V devices that are used with the PC, such as printer, desk lamp, stereo etc. When the PC or Notebook is then powered down, it would also automatically shut down the power to these devices and re-open when the PC or Notebook is booted again. In this way you never forget to close the power to the devices, saving both power and extending the lifetime of equipments.
