eOSCAR KEYPAD 1201

MISOLIMA eOscar KeyPad 1201 has 1x5-bit port plus 3x bits for switch input as well as security bit. KeyPad available from EAO or Farnell eao-s.12150.

In embedded systems there is often need of key input and it's here where MISOLIMA eOscar KeyPad plays an important role, as it contains both DOLLx8 network protocol and PC keyboard interface.

eOscar KeyPad 1201 is a 12 Key keypad made in ruggedised and vandal resistant keypads made in metal (Zamak 5 with chrome finish) where the front protection meets IP 67. eOscar KeyPad 1201 measures 63 x 82 mm and has dimmable LED illumination of the buttons. The keypad controller board has function alarm, built in DC-DC switching power supply and buzzer and can be interfaced directly to DOLLx8 and PS2 ports. It interfaces directly to RS-232 or USB port via MISOLIMA eCharlie U2R-RJ and connects direct to MISOLIMA eBonnie 15-368 AVL or eClyde 15-368 GSM where it works as a dialling pad.

With eAlbert DOLLx8 it works as alarm function and password input together with I/O functions.

The eOscar KeyPad PCB module are designed to fit EAO keypads with 12 or 16 keys. The internal embedded software are based on DOLLx8 commands as well as PS2 interface functions. The PCB has a I/O port as well as communication port for both PC and extention to i.e. text display like our eMessanger 220, a 2x20 character display.

The eOscar KeyPad has built-in command sets for alarms, switch functions and sensors that works together with both eAlbert DOLLx8 I/O device and eMessanger display. The very same command set also works with data bits on the eOscar KeyPad I/O port.
